Despite the growing concern of the amount of beer in the cups, I have decided to detract from discussing it in this edition of the American Shane Rant. Instead I will focus on something much more important. The growing need for funds to provide nutrition and nourishment to the kids of North Africa. I know, this is a shocker for most of you subscribers, but some people live in the f**king sahara desert.
ok but seriously... todays column will be on the amount of beer in the cups. I think that Coy's suggestion of beer an inch over the line is a good one, and should be used as a general reference point to where to fill the beer up to. Since we are no longer requiring you to drink all the cups they make (or any of them), you can fill ur cups to an inch above the line and leave em there the whole night. It doesn't really bother me as much as others (because my teammate throws lasers and often knocks over cups that aren't even low, hell, I bet he could chunk a pigskin over them mountains over there), but I can see how it could hurt some team's chances (such as those with high arches and low velocity on their shot (Brad, not Herman)) of sinking a cup.
BTW in the game that the amount of liquid in the cup was complained about, it wasn't because the cup wasn't full. The actual reason the cup kept moving was because the cups were sliding on the beer that had spilled on the table.....
Moral of the story, kids in North Africa need water, and fill your cups up, drink up, and enjoy.
